The destiny of Sarasota County will be decided in the next few years. This window of opportunity represents our last chance to protect land and our community from the effect of over-development. On the Gulf Coast, water is a powerful force in our lives and it makes this a cherished destination and home for many. Sarasota Conservation Foundation is working with landowners and local government to protect and preserve the bays, beaches and barrier islands that define the character and ecology of Sarasota County.

Sarasota Conservation Foundation strives to protect the environment, character, and biodiversity of Sarasota County's bays, beaches and barrier islands for future generations by:
